September - Reana Gonzales
“Reana has lots of passion,” says Coordinator Pat
Coronado. “Because of her own personal life experience, she
passionately advocated for a 2 year old little girl who was
found in a filthy home filled with IV needles. The parents
were absent and the maternal grandmother is schizophrenic as
well as drug addicted. Reana advocated hard for a permanent
placement with great family members in Santa Fe.”
October - Janet
Sanders Janet is Old Faithful. What on earth
would we do without her helping with our Leadership Program?
Daniel Chacon, Leadership Facilitator says of Janet, “She’s
awesome! The kids love her. She takes planning and leadership
roles as a mentor and has been the real key to our
success.”
November - Jerry
Alm Coordinator Theresa Kyser loves Jerry. “I
like that - bless his heart - he is so unassuming. He met the
kids and within five minutes he had these sullen kids opening
up to him. Yet he knew his boundaries and didn't’t push them.
He has slowly allowed them to open up to him by respecting
their position on things. …And he has a wicked sense of
humor.” Top

support, art classes, physical education, life skills, and an
entire array of family services for our kids.
Graduation for the Leadership class
will be November 16th at 6:00 at Westminster Presbyterian
Church. We continue to be grateful to Westminster and its ally
churches for their support and great
cooking.
Girls Circle Graduation will
be November 27th at 5:30 in the new CASA Youth Offices across
